QVC Christmas in July Weekend 7/25-26

I have to say I'm pretty excited about the whole Christmas in July weekend! I'll be on Q Saturday 7/25, from 5-6 AM; and even more exciting is the Quacker Home Show - all those adorable whimsical holiday items for the home - on Sunday July 26th, 1-2 AM! This is my first time doing a Home Show, so I hope everyone spreads the word and tunes in!

Graduation Photos Posted!

It was really a wonderful event - no time for tears - the entire sudience just hooted and hollered (after respectfully waiting for each consecutive student's name and future plans) - then the cheers as each received their diplomas was deafening. Baccalaureate

We just came home from the Baccalaureate service at Conrad Weiser High School. What a lovely event! Lots of hymns, positive readings, and good wishes for the students. More than a service, it was a blessing for them as they move on in their lives.
As the graduating seniors walked down the center aisle of the auditorium, I found my eyes welling up with tears of love, joy and pride. Look at how far these kids have come! Kids no longer, they are now truly young adults, about to make their ways into… Continue

Removing wall paper is not a fun job but what a transformation later. I can imagine & agree about the dark brown color making the room look smaller & drab? I am sure you will perk things up. Its very rewarding seeing the end results. Amish Quilts are beautiful. I was reading a womans Blog about a recent trip to Amish country in Northern Indiana. She posted photos of the gorgeous quilts. One photo was flowers planted in a quilt pattern. I have not visited Amish country here in Indiana but have gone to Arcola, IL where the Amish reside several times. Rockome Gardens is an attraction there with gorgeous flowers also. The only thing I purchased at our county fair was a BBQ Beef Sandwich from the Cattlemen's Club. Not very exciting but very tasty.
